S. Moungthong Phrae Wood Products Ltd., Part. is an affiliation of S.MOUNGTHONG CO., LTD. We are manufacturer of thousand kinds of wood tableware and kitchenware in Thailand. We have in the past exported all kinds of chopping board, engrain cutting board, salad bowl set, tray, lazy susan, trivet, etc. to Europe.

About us:

In 1962, our factory was founded as a home factory in PHRAE province by the grandfather, Mr. Moungthong Lan, for making craft doors and windows from teak wood supplied to trading and export company in Bangkok. Unfortunately, teak was scarce because of an influx of demand consumption in furniture business from local and, oversea countries. It was declared as a preserved wood by Thai government. This means a sign in two ways - change the material, or close the factory.

Mr. Moungthong Satit, the son, handed this small business from the father in 1989, and switched the production to monkey woodenware, which its color is in dark. The products in dark wood tableware and kitchenware were most popular at this moment in America, and European Countries. However, wood is wood. Trees never grow faster than cutting by human. In 1996, we found that Rubber wood was very much abundant in southern part of Thailand. Price was very less, even included transportation to north. Quality of wood was also better. Customers were all accepted. S.Moungthong Phrae Wood Products Ltd., Part was registered with 7 millions baht of capital in 1996, and started a production of rubber wood products, mainly in tableware and kitchenware until present. From the beginning with 30 workers, to present with 110 workers, we endeavor to improve our quality, and design for our valued customers. We never stop developing our products, and searching new material to the market. We are moving to the bright future by a strong base in wooden business.
